Recap: With the recent injury to Welker, I had to protect my investment. Edelman will probably selected around this time now that Welker has gone down with knee injuries. Only time will tell how long it will take Welker to heal so handcuffing him to Welker Jr, I mean Julian Edelman, makes sense. Edelman’s value could go up a few rounds if he has a nice postseason and/or Welker’s injury keeps him out of training camp. Right now I feel like Welker should be back, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Quarterback Jay Cutler #6 of the Chicago Bears passes the ball in the first quarter against the San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park on November 12, 2009 in San Francisco, California.

Recap: I’ve said that I will be targeting Cutler late in next year’s drafts. I think this year was a bit of a fluke for him. The Bears should bring in another WR for him and that only helps his cause. In the last 2 weeks of the season, Cutler lead all QBs in points including 8 TD passes to only 1 INT and a total of 549 yards. I don’t expect him to put up those kinds of numbers but 2 TDs and around 250 yards a game is not unrealistic to expect in his 2nd year with Chicago. Cutler’s a good QB and I’d love to get him this late after stacking up at the other positions. Warner was also available. If faced with either Warner or Culter next year, I’ll probably pick them both over different drafts and not put all of my eggs in my basket. Either way, I’d be happy with either in the 10th.
