Rock Solid: Two Week 12 MUST Pick Ups
Wow what a day for Redskins back Rock Cartwright. He touched the ball 20 times for 140 yards including 7 catches totaling 21 fantasy points today. It looks like Ladell Betts will be out for the season and Clinton Portis could miss more time, so Cartwright should start in week 12 and maybe even longer after that. He should be available in most leagues and will make a great fill-in/flex starter going forward.
The other guy to pick up is my man, Freddy Jack. He may have been dropped in some leagues, but with starter Marshawn Lynch likely out with a shoulder injury, he is a must pick up. Freddy Jack was money in the beginning of the year when he filled in for Lynch. I’ve thought all along that he’s the better back. Not sure why he didn’t keep the starting job when Lynch came back because he was definitely more effective. I’m assuming it had something to do with the money their paying Lynch. Anyways, get Jackson if you can because he will touch the ball around 20 times a game if Lynch ends up not playing in week 12. He had 13 touches (9 rushes, 4 catches) in today’s game for 55 yards and 9.5 fantasy points filling in for Lynch.
